Aloe's new album is called "Good Things" it isn't officially out until next month, but there are advanced copies out on the torrent sites. Let me know if you can't find it, I will send you an invite to one of those sites in the Torrent Invites thread.
I have heard Shawn Lov before, but it was only one song on a mixtape "The Lov Dr", he is pretty good. I will have to check out that album. Oh damn he has a song with Sadat X

Yeah Dilla is nasty.
Definitely a lot of jazzy/funky type stuff going on, on the west coast. PUTS are one of my favorite groups, seen them live a few times. That second group I posted (The Physics) I know two of the dudes in the group, not well though. One of my friends went to high school with them, and I have partied with them a couple of times. Cool dudes. They aren't big or anything, mostly get indie love around these parts, they do a lot of shows in the area.
